SUMMARY:An Afternoon of Prayer and Discovery
DESCRIPTION:Fr. Mark Hallinan will lead us in a special Stations of the Cross for migrant seekers. We will then hear about the powerful encounters our members had on their recent trip to the Texas-Mexico border\, followed by a story of enormous resilience and persistence coupled with the incredible kindness of New Yorkers. \nPanelists are:\n– Jimmy Coffey and Anne Melanson\, who recently returned from our trip to the southern border\n– Rosayra Pablo Cruz and her now-19 year old son Yordy Michicoj Pablo\, who were separated at the border in 2016. Rosy authored The Book of Rosy: A Mother’s Story of Separation at the Border and is part of the upcoming Netflix documentary Split at the Root.
