More Than a Book Club

More Than A Book Club provides an opportunity to share our love of literature in a welcoming and respectful environment, with open discussion that challenges us to grow closer to God and each other as a community. In keeping with the Ignatian tradition of finding God in all things, we believe that literature helps us to understand ourselves and our world and to keep learning.
Books enlarge our world, challenge our imagination, and nourish our spirits, in times of crisis as well as times of tranquility. More Than a Book Club has connected people on the intellectual, spiritual and social level.
Our museum trips and other events related to the books we are reading have had particular appeal to adults who are interested in daytime activities. There are usually 10-12 participants; meetings are open to all.
