Dr. Elizabeth Stack, the Executive Director of the American Irish Historical Society (991 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY), will discuss the broad history of the Irish in New York, from their part in the early labor struggle to their role in city politics, their service in the military, their contributions to culture and literature and the evolution of the 1st St. Patrick’s Day Parade here in New York City.
