This Advent, as the world witnesses the largest flow of displaced persons in a century, we focus on the evangelist Matthew’s testimony that Jesus began his life as a refugee. Presentations and discussions will reflect on this pivotal story as well as other biblical texts that highlight God’s command to care for the “sojourner.”
