War and Peace Discussion Group: Viewing of the Documentary Film Citizenfour

For our May meeting, we will study the rise of the surveillance state in the United States, which benefits numerous companies that profit off the military-industrial complex. The documentary we will be viewing is Citizenfour, an Oscar-winning film directed by Laura Poitras and produced by Steven Soderbergh.
