Roosevelt André Credit, Bass-Baritone, was born in Oakland, California, and baptized at Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church. His Broadway experience includes: Tony Award-Winning Revival Cast of ShowBoat as One Man Band; Porgy and Bess as Jim (Tony Award for Revival Cast). Off-Broadway shows: Ragtime, ShowBoat, Marie Christine, Treemonisha, I Am Harvey Milk. PBS: Live from Lincoln Center’s production of Show Boat. Other performances include: Carnegie Hall, David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center, and others. Solo recordings: Letting Go, Ol’ Time Religion, and Get On Board. Book: O’l Time Religion– An Anthology of Spirituals for piano/voice, choral octavos with Laurendale Publishing. Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Music at Oregon State University, Masters degrees in Voice and Opera Performance, and in Conducting from Northwestern University. He achieved Eagle Scout from Troop 254, Golden Acorn District.
