Hear About the Migrant Justice Work of Our Ignatian Social Justice Ministry
September 14 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Join us for a presentation and review of the migrant justice work of our Ignatian Social Justice Ministry.
Through our migrant justice work, which started in September 2021, we have partnered with a broad cross-section of organizations and adapted our work to changing needs and circumstances.
We provide welcome, solidarity, and accompaniment to families new to New York City. We offer pro bono legal representation. We host Interfaith Prayer Services for Migrants. We partner with other organizations to provide pro se legal asylum help and accompany migrants to court who face the risk of immediate detention. Hear about our accompaniment work, work with unaccompanied minors, school partnerships, trips to the Southern Border, and more.
