Care of Creation Event for Ages 8-12

Join in the Care of Creation event with students from Little Sisters of the Assumption from East Harlem.
Ice Breakers: Introduction to Care of Creation/Climate Change
4 Stations
Planting: There will be succulent plants to plant in a small clay pot to bring home
Mural: Draw your favorite scene of nature or what you see as important to take care of in Nature. Drawings will be displayed on rolling dividers and placed in the Church.
Letter Writing: Write a letter to President Biden and/or Vice President Harris on how important climate change is to you and how we need to care for Creation. (Last year, students received replies from the President & Vice Present!)
Books: To read and take home on climate change and care of creation
Take home a snack bag and clay pot with plant
Parents MUST accompany a child for the full 2 hours.
