How Do Catholics Read the Bible?

While many Americans approach scripture from a literalist perspective, the Catholic tradition embraces much richer methods of interpretation. Our class meetings will examine both contemporary and traditional ways of reading Scripture. Above all, we will reflect on how our church hears the Word and responds under the Spirit’s guidance.
