Ignatian Social Justice Lecture: Jesuit Slaveholding

Fr. Danny Gustafson, S.J., will deliver a lecture in Wallace Hall on Jesuits and slavery in Maryland, focusing on how colonial and antebellum Jesuits formed their understanding of slavery and the factors influencing the mass sale of enslaved people in 1838.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A and refreshments.
