Many Faiths, One City: An Interfaith Journey Through Colonial New York

November 7

Saturday, November 7th at 10 AM or 1 PM

An immersive interfaith walking adventure through the streets where New York’s story began.

Step into a world of pirates, prophets, revolutionaries, refugees, traders, and forgotten visionaries. Walk the streets where Sephardic Jewish refugees fought for the right to stay, Lutherans challenged colonial authority, Anglican influence grew, and African Muslims carried their faith across the Atlantic. Along the way, discover how these communities helped shape New York’s diverse identity long before it became the city we know today.

Organized by Peace Islands New York and Ignatian Interfaith Ministry, the tour is led by experienced guide Kevin McKeever. Learn more about Kevin here.

Please note: Tours will take place rain or shine. Space is strictly limited, and both tours are expected to fill. The meeting address in Lower Manhattan will be provided to all registrants.
