Tuesday Night Book Group: Discovering Our Home in the Trinity

An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until April 30, 2024
If you want to know the meaning of life, if you long to know who—and Whose—you are, if your heart aches to love and to be loved, join us to learn what one author calls “the best-kept secret of our faith.” In his provocative new book The Father’s House: Discovering Our Home in the Trinity, Fr. James Brent of the Thomistic Institute sheds light on the topic of the indwelling Trinity: “Through baptism, the Trinity comes to dwell in our hearts in a whole new way, but most of the baptized are unaware of it.” He asserts that it’s time for the Church on earth to wake up to the truth of the indwelling Trinity—and provides a path to that awakening.
Simultaneously, we will also view and discuss the new video series “Liturgy & Life: Unveiling the Mystical Movement of the Mass” (L&L). The ultimate source of the liturgy is the Most Holy Trinity—providing the liturgy as the font from which all the power of the Church flows and as the mechanism by which we are lifted up into the mystery of God.
The synergy of our discussion of this book and video series promises more than mere information: a truly powerful and transformative Lenten/Easter experience!
Discussions begin at 7 PM and typically run 75-90 minutes.
