IREP

Our Interparish Religious Education Program is an on-going after school formation process for children in Kindergarten to 8th grade.

Our Interparish Religious Education Program (IREP) is an ongoing after-school faith formation process for children in Kindergarten to the eighth grade. IREP is intended for children who do not attend Catholic School but would like to be guided in the Catholic Faith. Families from any parish are welcome to enroll their children in IREP.

The Sacraments of Eucharist, Reconciliation, and Confirmation are received during these years, which are extremely important and are rightfully seen as causes of celebration for our families. However, our program is focused on building a solid foundation of faith in our students—not just on administering sacraments, so attendance from Grades K-8 is highly encouraged. Each year builds on the previous years and helps strengthen and reinforce important aspects of the Catholic faith.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

This is a program of religious formation for preschool children ages 3, 4, and 5 and is offered through our Interparish Religious Education Program (IREP) at St. Ignatius Loyola. The program uses Montessori-based educational techniques in a space called the “Atrium”—where the child has the opportunity to develop a personal relationship with God through hands-on and activity-based introductions to Scripture narratives and the Liturgical traditions of the Church.
