Tuesday Night Book Group: Sunday In-Person Spring Series

Abandonment to the will of God is the goal of the Christian life. And yet, surrendering everything over to God remains very difficult for the vast majority of us. What we need to realize is that while giving ourselves over to God’s perfect will is absolutely necessary, it’s a gradual, step-by-step process of growth.
Join the Tuesday Night Book Group to discuss what’s been called “The Secret of Peace and Happiness”: Total Abandonment to God’s Will.
If you’re joining us for the first time, you can catch up on the previous video lessons in the series free via ScienceOfSainthood.com before April 16th. We’ll be finishing the series by watching and discussing Lessons 8, 9, and 10 together.
Our study has been supplemented by handouts featuring select passages from three spiritual classics:
– Abandonment to Divine Providence by Fr. Jean-Pierre de Caussade, S.J.
– Trustful Surrender to Divine Providence by Fr. Jean Baptiste Saint Jure, S.J., and St. Claude de la Colombiere, S.J.
– Into Your Hands, Father: Abandoning Ourselves to the God Who Loves Us by Wilfrid Stinissen.
